Eating Healthy Never Tasted So Good!
Allergies? Not with these items you won't.
I am a long time seasonal allergy sufferer, despite the fact that I love gardening. So for years I was a benadryl kid, and for years I too felt the well-known "sleepy" side affects. However, I have come across some allergy relief products that have seriously eliminated my need for Benadryl, Claritin, Allegra, Zyrtec, and Flonase. Yeah, I'm pretty much allergic to any and everything haha.
For sneezing, itchy, dry nose, constant running, and all those other fun symptoms these next couple of items have honestly been my panacea.
Ayr Brand Nasal Gel: This saline nasal gel is quite honestly the most amazing thing ever for nasal allergies. It's perfect for dry, scratchy irritation, that constant need to rub your nose, and helps soothe that tingly sensation. Just place a little dab around the nostrils, and then carefully put some up your nose. A little goes a long way! You don't have to plug your nose with this stuff to make it work. It has aloe that will immediately remove itch feelings, plus the saline solution keeps it moist. This also helps to prevent pollen from entering all the way up the nose to the olfactory foramen. (fancy term for where the pollen drives you crazy.)
SinuCleanse Squeeze: Sometimes all you really need is to clean out your Nasal Sinuses to remove any built up pollen and air particles. This simple nasal wash kit will remove built up mucous, pollen, misc particles that get stuck in the mucous membranes. It uses warm water, Sodium Bicarbonate and Sodium Chloride (saline solution) to naturally wash out the nasal sinuses. If you click the link it will describe how to use it properly. It's very easy to do, and after the first try I immediately felt better. I highly recommend this one. It's pretty much what you would get done at an ENT's office, but much cheaper.
Now let's say you can't be bothered to have water rushing up your nose and out the other end. Well here is a great all natural tea that will help stimulate your mucuous sinuses to loosen up and help flush out your allergens. Not to mention this tastes GREAT!
Nasal Cleanse Tea:
1/2" slice of fresh ginger
3-4 clove pieces
small cinnamon stick (broken into two)
5-6 cardamom pods
*you will also need your own Tea Bags or a Tea Ball
You will need to dice the ginger into nice size bits. The cinnamon sticks will also need to be shortened to fit inside the tea bag or tea ball. I would not recommend using ground cinnamon, because it will be too overpowering. The cardamom pods can be crushed open, but keep the seeds in the pod.
Once you have everything in the tea bag or tea ball, time to boil some water. Make sure the water boils for just a second, then remove from the heat. Pour hot water over tea bag or tea ball and allow to seep for 5-10 minutes. You should be able to smell the tea (it will smell amazing). Then you may add some sugar or sweetener, but not too much. Sip Slowly and allow the tea to warm up your throat. This will help stimulate your nasal passages and you should notice your nose starting to drain. If you notice your nose is really starting to run, this would be a great time to try the SinuCleanse Squeeze! Or you can just blow your nose.

Vitamin C? Yes Please :)
Oranges cannot compare to the high amounts of Vitamin C found in Red, Yellow, and Orange Peppers. So the next time you feel a sniffle why not try this juice instead? This can also be prepared in a variety of ways to better suit your tastes. An all veggie juice not quite up to your tastebud's standards? Adding small amounts of carrots or apples can boost the sweetness level to your liking. Or if you are a fan of bloody marys, then why not add a dash of your favorite hotsauce and a little bit of fresh cracked pepper, minus the vodka of course
Super C Rescue:
1 whole red pepper
1 whole yellow pepper
1 whole orange pepper
1/2 cucumber
1-2 celery stalks
1 small handful of parsley
For something sweeter add:
apples
carrots
lemon
For something a little spicier add:
tomatoes
hotsauce
green peppers
black pepper
The great thing about this Juice is that it definitely get's you you're daily dose of vegetables, not to mention all the vitamins and minerals associated with them. The fact that it can be catered to your likings, makes it all the more easy to make. Sometimes I like making it spicy (sorta like a virgin bloody mary) and othertimes I want something sweeter. The peppers with the carrots and apple really make it sweeter, while the tomatoes and green peppers give it that peppery kick! It's incredibly versatile.

Super Greens to the Rescue!
What exactly is a Super Green or Super Food? It's a combination of fruits and vegetables that contain high amounts of vitamins and minerals that your body needs on a regular basis. Some examples would be: Vitamin A, B, C, K, Iron, Potassium, Biotin, etc. Not to mention the healthy levels of Fiber and Essential Fatty Acids, especially if you've tried Acai berries.

Great way to Detox: Body Cleanser Juice
When most people hear about Detoxing, they usually think it's some trick to persuade them to buy a certain brand of Weightloss Pill. Even for that matter, most people don't really know what it means to Detox. Also the word Antioxidant get's thrown around a lot too, simply because companies know people will fall for these sorta gimmicks. But there is a way to Detox, meaning to help your body get rid of excess minerals, vitamins, old damaged blood cells, and all sorts of junk that builds up in your liver, kidneys, and blood.
When I first started drinking this body cleanser I wasn't sure exactly what it was going to do, other than peeing orange for a few days lol. But after three days I immediately noticed that I was increasing my metabolism and I was getting my full days worth of vegetables and fruits without having to eat huge portions of salads and the like. I definitely recommend these to anyone who's a vegetarian, or someone looking to start a new exercise and eating plan.
Body Cleanser:
1 Large Beet (fresh)
* Optional* Beat Leaves
1/2 medium cucumber
1 small handful of fresh parsley
2 celery stalks
1 cup of broccoli with stalk.
1 medium apple of choice
1 cup of large leaf spinach
*You will need a juicer in order to make this. I recommend the Jack Lalanne Juicer as it's rather inexpensive when compared to most juicers out there, not to mention that it's extremely effective. Trust me this thing is actually worth the buy.
When juicing you should always juice your base fruits/veggies first (ones that will take up the bulk of the volume) So start with your apple. Cut it in fours.
Wrap the parsley around two slices and juice them
Wrap the spinach leaves around the other two slices and juice them.
Insert Celery, Cucumber, Broccoli.
Finshing up with the large Beat Last.
This should make approximately 1.5 to 2 cups of juice depending on how big your apples and cucumbers were. Which will make two full servings of your Fruits and Veggies for the day. You can chill the juice in the fridge for a while and 8-10oz makes a single serving.
I also recommend drinking one in the afternoon and one in the evening preferably after a light supper. This way nothing too heavy will sit in your stomach while you sleep. You'll also wakeup hungry for breakfast, which is most definitely the most important meal of the day.
Hopefully you enjoy! Trust me, it's tastes amazing....

The Activia plain yogurt adds a great boost of probiotics, while the Perfect Meal also adds in probiotics, protein, and it's a low glycemic index food. Helps keep blood sugar levels regulated without the oh-so-common crashing feeling. I've been drinking this everyday for a few weeks now and I've definitely noticed a difference in terms of "Digestive Regularity" if you know what I mean
Not to mention it's keeping me full until I have time
to eat lunch.
